Manage AP and AR for Trailhead proper as well as a dozen affiliate organizations with budgets ranging from <$10,000 a year to >$5,000,000 a year. Duties include AP, AR, reporting, budget monitoring, parts of payroll, affiliate training, and process improvement. I also work with the Finance committee, culture committee, and the Evaluation committee to streamline communications, improve moral and improve projects throughout Trailhead.

Working in a hybrid role, splitting time between finance and project management. Role currently involves tracking grants and grant terms, AP, financial reporting, meeting planning, logistical and technical support, program planning, and contract management.

Brought on to help wrap up the finances for a $7M+ grants management program. Responsible for reviewing invoicing and working in conjunction with grantees and program management to review budgets. Worked in conjunction with program management to put together final reporting for the program.

Worked with local partners to develop project plans to help rural communities, developed budget estimates, oversaw work on projects, assisted with the review of technical and budget documents, and negotiation of agreements with local partners. Project Supervision; developed cost estimates, disbursed funds and materials, negotiated cooperative agreements, developed monitoring and evaluation (M&E) criterion, and evaluated results.

Developed curriculum, taught, developed activities and programs for local youth. Developed local and regional projects, including project design and needs assessment, grant writing, cost estimating, project implementation, disbursement of funds, monitoring and evaluation of project efficacy, and reporting to grantors.Assisted in training new PC Volunteers by leading technical training sessions on community integration and needs assessment. Worked one on one with local community members to help them achieve personal goals, including special tutoring for local students, and working with a group of young men to start a vegetable stand.
