About Andrew Silva

I am a Marine Corps veteran with over five years military service. My military service provided me with the opportunities to improve myself in not only my work ethic but my leadership and organizational skills. I was a certified instructor in air support logistics and supervised a total of twenty Marines. I am currently a student at UIC, working towards a bachelors' degree in Information and Decision Sciences. My goal following graduation would be to work in the information technology job field. My main motivation is to ensure the security of personal identifiable information.I'm looking to connect with IT or IS professionals in order to find out more about the industry and their experiences.
