Responsible for delivering RECO Upcycling in Australia following the success of its parent, an IPO listed company based in Europe. World-first technology was derived recycling almost 100% of waste plastic, leaving a zero carbon footprint whilst doing so and generating its own power to run its factory. RECO Upcycling provides a "Better than Landfill Solution" via a waste plastic recovery system that safely manages and processes waste plastic and protects the environment for Australasian residents and businesses for generations to come. We provide innovative, economical, efficient, reliable eco-friendly and advanced recycling technology to the world, along with spreading awareness about its environmental and economic benefits. Our goal is to be a leader in the recovery and conservation of the environment, and our commitment is to deliver a comprehensive and permanent sustainable solution to the environmental problems faced by our clients, and society as a whole.

A long-time Director of the North Adelaide Football Club, still enjoying our most recent Premiership win in 2018. As President & Chairman of the Club, I most recently led and delivered the construction of new Football Club facilities in 2022, more specifically, a new function space (The Pavillion), gymnasium and much-needed women's changeroom facilities. Having undertaken a successful grant application process, the South Australian Government were kind enough to provide funds that went some way to covering total redevelopment costs. Covid hit all sporting Clubs hard in 2020, and ours no less. During this time, I worked with our Board, administration, players and staff to navigate our way through Covid and to ensure the longevity of our significant revenue streams (our venues). A very difficult time for everyone across the globe of course, and we were very glad to have come out the other side of it. I leave the Board having largely installed most of its current members, making it the envy of other Clubs in the SANFL.

Invited by Olympic Industries founders to join its Board of Directors and Chair the Board. Engaged in strategic planning and structural changes (with other Directors) within the business through Covid, along with re-positioning it for the future.

Initially engaged by Olympic Industries owners to strategically manage its assets, providing progression and continuity, whilst evolving its asset base at the same time. Transitioned into core business, responsible for resetting and reshaping its engineering team, along with other elements.

Following a number of years working in both London and South Australia at a senior level, an opportunity presented itself to acquire retail and commercial property in South Australia and scale up our then, small residential property development arm. This provided an entry to shopping centre ownership, which seemed a natural progression noting my past experience. We acquired, held and sold at the right time throughout this period (and the GFC), and stepped-up into large-scale residential property development in the form of apartment and townhouse projects through Prospect and Mawson Lakes. This provided invaluable experience in respect of liaising with both local Government and Council planners, Councillors and engineers, and facilitated a skillset and contact base we still use today.

I joined the CBRE Group (CB Richard Ellis) in London in the early nineties and was fast tracked and appointed the first non-UK director of one of the largest first tier commercial property firms in the world. I worked through three 'mergers/acquisitions' during my time, headed a team of accountants, managers and asset planners and was responsible for a number of blue chip company's (very substantial) portfolios including AMP, NPI, AXA, Royal & Sun Alliance, Bank of England, Church of Wales and Mitsubishi (UK). My Australian responsibilities were built on those overseas, including St George Bank and a mix of large superannuation organizations.
