Services include:- Working with a specialist bulk liquids transport storage manufacturing company, providing pre-award commercial risk review of Dept. of Defence contract documents, performance of cashflows and broader operational risk plans and management plan preparation.- Site based commercial support for a heavy engineering company, delivering rail unloading and conveyor systems for a coal terminal project in central Qld. Support with scope definition, commercial risk management, variation identification and notification, schedule achievement against programme with delay notification. Site based training around project commercial awareness. General and high level support to the Project Director and Corporate Commercial Manager as required.

Regional Manager for Visionstream, a telecommunications contracting company, delivering broad contracting services for Clients across the telecommunications industry and other industries requiring new or upgraded telecommunications infrastructure:- Accountability for successful project delivery within the Northern Region.- Operation of Northern Office and Warehouse facilities. Planning for future work volume and identification of resource and skill gaps and develop / implement strategies to ensure the regions capabilities are appropriate to deliver client objectives.- Facilitate the technical and personal development of team members within the region.- Support work winning opportunities, including operational support in tendering and business development.- Overseeing of WH&SEQ within the region, including the implementation of management plans and systems, monitoring of performance against plans, facilitation of training and communications around WH&SEQ matters and most importantly, strong WH&SEQ leadership of the regional management team.- Maintained strong client relationships, with clients including Telstra, Optus, NBN Co, Ericsson and Nextgen. Established new Client relationships and developed repeat business.- Maintained strong relationships with and expanded upon base of subcontractor and supplier stakeholdersAchievements at Visionstream:- Led and supported the growth of the Visionstream Qld based team from 75 employees in 2010 to over 200 employees at the time of departing the company. Secured and established a new regional office and warehousing complex of over 2,500m2 office space and 2,600m2 of warehouse space to meet current and future needs, setting the company up for a strong presence in the Qld market. Developed a base of skilled staff throughout Qld, with another office and warehouse established in Townsville, to meet growing defined opportunity and presence through coastal and northern Qld.

Managed a series of projects including the River Links Canal Development over 7 years to mid 2009, two South West Transport Projects (highway projects for DTMR Qld) from early 2008 to early 2010, Townsville V8 Supercar Project (civil and building project) from September 2008 to July 2009. Further to managing projects, Andrew also performed as bid leader on many EOI’s and tender opportunities for ports, land and building developments, highways and water projects.
