I previously wrote Python drivers for electronic test equipment in support of the IR&D for the Rockwell Collins Common Core Radio. These drivers use SNMP to control the radio and VISA to command the test equipment.

Supported the VibPro II project, an Embedded C++ application running on the Renesas 62 Microcontroller. The VibPro controls a geo-phone used in oil exploration. I redesigned the Sweep Decoder to send geo-phone data over an Ethernet connection.

I supported the V005 release of the Mode Logic software which controls the modes and states of the system controller. This device controls the batteries, engines and generators of the Bombardier LJ85 aircraft.

I updated the Fuel Tank Cross Feed, Sponson Refueling and Defueling logic for the Data Concentrator Unit of the Sikorsky CH53K helicopter, a DO-178B (level B) compliant project.

For this client, I wrote embedded software for JTRS compliant projects incorporating CORBA. For the GEMS project, I implemented an encrypted file system. For the GMR project, I developed cryptographic bypass policies in XML. For the SWISS-TDC project, I designed and wrote embedded CORBA software that sent data between an IP stack and a Serial interface. The operating system for the embedded hardware was IntegrityRTOS and the CORBA implementation was OmniOrb.

I was the engineer for the Data Read Server, a C program used for retrieving flight test data from the Archive for performing measurements and analysis. I was the lead engineer for its replacement: ADRI, a SOAP based Web server; I designed a Postgres database to perform collection of statistics on the retrieval and analysis of data and directed the redesign of the software during the project schedule recovery period.

I worked for Northrop Grumman on the Ground Based Missile Defense project as a software consultant for the CLE development group. I was an engineer for the CORE segment, a package of C++/CORBA objects used in all the CLE software. I was the engineer for TCBMD, a test tool that broadcast messages via UDP on an IP network. I designed and wrote a library of core classes for all the test tools and developed part of a missile hardware emulator.

I was an engineer for PrimeTime, a call center scheduling and staffing business application written for Windows. I was the engineer for the scheduling engine, written in Visual C++. My primary responsibilities were fixing customer reported bugs and implementing design changes. I re-designed the product so it could be localized for European or Asian markets.
