Team Leader, dealing with CIL, S106 and Infrastructure Planning at the London Borough of Hillingdon’s Planning Department. Using my creativity, adaptability and leadership to change and improve working practices while increasing efficiency across the Planning team.Working in CIL, S106 and Infrastructure first since April 2015, I have led on the use of bespoke Borough CIL and Mayoral CIL calculators, for the calculation of the CIL chargeable amount, surcharges and late payment interest, social housing relief as well as a plan scaling tool. As a Deputy Team Leader, and Senior Officer at both Waltham Forest and Hackney, led CIL teams and officers in DM who determine liability to CIL and calculate the CIL chargeable amount, increasing accuracy and income to the Council.In Development Management at Aylesbury Vale District Council until April 2015, swiftly and efficiently evaluating householder, agricultural and full planning applications as well as pre-application and permitted development 'informal' enquiries. I have an honours degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Leeds Metropolitan University as well as a further 14 months experience in the Urban Planning field as Monitoring Officer in Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council's Planning Policy Department.
