Maintenance Technician

Bairdware

Merthyr Tydfil

This was my first roll out of collage in the big bad working world. I worked on lots of different projects within the company. This roll took myself to places within the group to maintain and repair different machinery, as a young technician exposer to different machines in different environments I found exciting and challenging and loved every minute of this. This included maintenance of all garment cutting machines including; Gerber cutter, Rimoldi Spreading Machine, Rimoldi Strip Cutter, Krauss Wide Fabric Spreader.I needed to operate the cutting machines to produce fabric parts for production. Including the Lace Cutter &Clicker Press to ensure that it functions correctly before passing this on to production.Unfortunately the company could not continue as their only customer moved production abroad. The last few months we were sent to strip and pack the machines up to be sent to the plants around Europe. Again this was a great experience for myself to uninstall machinery and make sure that it could be easily assembled at the other end.
