A little bit about myself, I am currently attending Iowa State University to pursue a degree in construction engineering with an emphasis in electrical. I have had the privilege to experience HVAC and general handyman work in my teenage years as my father owned his own company. Through that experience I discovered that the troubleshooting and innovation aspect of work is the type of career I would enjoy. I am also an United States Marine Corps veteran with several years of experience in aviation system maintenance. In addition to being trained as an aviation mechanic, I have experience as an Aircraft Maintenance inspector which allowed me to complete complex tasks such as inspections of work and equipment, final evaluation checks, testing, as well as reviewing and updating publications, managing programs, and safety training. However I found I mostly enjoyed the troubleshooting of electrical systems on the aircraft. Through the combination of these experience I found the career of construction engineering with electrical emphasis to be the most suiting for me. I am currently looking for internships to experience this field of work.
