Total of 14.5 years planning experience. Total of 9 years in Development Management for LPAs; and 5.5 years working for a statutory planning consultee including writing planning consultation responses and submitting applications.2005-2008 (2.5 years)- Wirral Borough Council - Assistant Planning Officer, then Planning Officer (DM - full range of application types, pre-apps, appeals, c'ttee reports etc)2008-2009 (1 year) - Epping Forest District Council - Planning Officer (DM - full range of application types, pre-apps, appeals, c'ttee reports etc)2009-2014 (5.5 years) - Lee Valley Regional Park Authority - Planning Officer. Writing planning consultation responses for a statutory consultee plus submitting planning applications (total c.140 applications, all but one of which were approved) on behalf of the Authority, to 12 different LPAs in London, Herts and Essex.2014-2020 (5.5 years) - St Albans City and District Council - Planning Officer, then Lead Planning Officer (equivalent of Senior Planning Officer), then Deputy Planning Team Leader for the last 4 years (equivalent of Principal Planning Officer) - all in DM. Again, full range of application types, pre-apps, c'ttee reports etc, rising in scale and complexity with the different job roles. Also for my current role of 4 years (Deputy Planning Team Leader) undertaking signing off of delegated reports, management of small sub-teams, and latterly case officer for Council-led masterplanning for a large housing led scheme of 580 houses and associated works.
