Responsible for the overall FP&A function for the Admin Re division of Swiss Re reporting into the Global Head of Finance and divisional CFO.Responsibilities included management global liquidity and the generation of cash in the business serving as the key metric for which the division is value. Primary person responsible for all divisional forecasts and projections of results throughout the year utilized by the Group Performance Management team as well as the Group CFO and Board of Directors to understand and steer the business.Develop and analyze internal metric and performance indicators to review with the Admin Re Executive Management team. This helps drive the business and financial strategy of the division to achieve internal and external targets.Overall process manager for the Admin Re 5 year business plan. This deliverable involved working with numerous teams across the Group and the Admin Re local finance teams to develop a financial plan. During the quarter and year end close process, I was responsible for the divisional deliverable to analyze the results for review with the Group CFO and the Executive Management team. Was also heavily involved in all information used by Investor relations and Rating agencies Group functions which were then used as part of the Group-wide reports and presentations.

Successfully transitioned business from Swiss Re to Jackson National Life during a sale of a portion of the Admin Re block of business. This involved transfer of business specific knowledge and also working with Swiss Re on a continuing basis via service agreements to help fill gaps and ensure a seamless transition on both sides of the transaction.Responsible for the US Admin Re (division of Swiss Re) business during this time in an FP&A capacity. Developing projections for the full year and forecasts for quarterly results as new information came to light during the reporting process. Worked with other teams within Swiss Re including tax, asset management, financial reporting, and the central expense team on a daily basis to develop expectations of results that were then presented to Admin Re and Swiss Re management.Also, assisted with the Global FP&A and Financial Reporting processes as needed, consolidating results and developing story lines and commentary to compare results used in presentations by the Admin Re CFO and CEO to the Swiss Re Group Executive Committee.

Primary responsibilities included analysis and reporting of the US entity of the division, consolidation of the various entities to attain a Global view of the results, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects for the division.Engaged in the segment validation of the division with 3 years retrospective restatements. Worked with the entities to determine the basis for reporting their results moving forward, then developing retrospective income statements and balance sheets. Participated in the planning process for the US entity working with the actuaries and various Group functions. Was then involved in the Global documentation and presentation of the divisional planned results. Working on the presentation that was eventually signed off by the Chairman, Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the company.
