Enquiries welcome +61 412 022 884 blocky@netspace.net.auAndrew has worked as a freelance writer, editor and consultant within diverse industry sectors.Each year Andrew judges the Banksia Environmental Awards and is currently on the Business Expert Panel for Business Victoria Online, and writing for various private sector organisations and government departments – including ministerial speeches and marketing material for a new city-scale infrastructure development, Gerbang Nusajaya, on the Malaysian coast near Singapore.Recent work includes writing content to help promote the NDIS rollout in Victoria, fact sheets on eye care and conditions for regionally-based health clinics, writing / editing annual reports for Regional Development Victoria and the McConnell Dowell Group, a Federal Government grant submission for Devondale Murray Goulburn, advising on revisions to the State Revenue Office’s internal taxation database and writing technical content for Ryco. Over the years, Andrew has written many editorial features and columns for publications including Australian Way (Qantas), Voyeur (Virgin Blue), Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, Gourmet Traveller, HQ Magazine, Houses, Black & White, Desktop Magazine, Business Travel Monthly and various newspapers.He is experienced with print and digital publication styles from grant applications, tender submissions, annual reports, policy statements, newsletters, brochures, websites and direct marketing to media releases, presentations (including keynote speeches), company profiles, e-business, corporate video scripts, TVC scripts, radio ads and point of sale. Additional expertise includes brand consultation, media strategy, professional writing seminars and speech writing workshops, plus editorship of corporate publications.Before freelance writing, Andrew produced television for Channel 10 (Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton), and was a journalist at the Herald Sun and Leader Community Newspapers.
