My name is Andrew Bond. I am a consummate business professional who has been writing software since 2011.I am an avid gamer. I directly attribute this hobby to my propensity for understanding, dissecting, manipulating and creating complex systems. I went to college for programming and game development. However, over time my interests became more focused on the technical aspect of design, rather than the artistic, and I landed a career in a more traditional application environment.I begun my career at a start-up company called GDSX; The proprietary software created by this company proved to become so relevant to the travel industry that the company was wholly acquired by Concur in 2014. Just over a year later, Concur was acquired by SAP, where I have been ever since.Business travel automation is an extremely challenging and unique intersection of programming and travel industry knowledge. As such, I have had the opportunity to learn, thrive an excel in two vastly different, yet interconnected skill sets simultaneously.My ultimate goal is to find career that will provide me with exponential growth, both personally and professionally. I am particularly interested in acquiring new technical skill-sets, business/leadership philosophy, and vertical mobility.
