Since 2015 I have served as NED to a number of electricity sector companies in the UK and internationally. I founded Buglass Energy Advisory in 2014 to support investors, government bodies and other consultancies with strategic, commercial and financing advice, particularly in relation to the energy transition.Notable career highlights include: ◼️ Serving as Special Adviser to UK Government’s Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy Select Committee.◼️ Advising on raising the first debt secured for a project under the UK’s Capacity Market mechanism◼️Re-establishing a leading presence in UK Renewables for RBS, becoming the largest lender in the sector within 2 years.I leverage deep understanding of the sector and strong strategic oversight, navigating between granular details and the bigger picture to inform decision making.
