In March 2017, I made the decision to explore South Korea once again in hopes of learning about their graphic design market and work culture. I applied to become an ESL teacher at an academy. I did this to support a lot of my research during my free time after work and on Saturdays and Sundays. I enjoyed teaching elementary and middle school students how to read, write, and speak English as I conducted my research.

I planned my lectures based on 50% instructional speaking and 50% of the student’s interactions in practicing and improving their English-speaking abilities.
