As the European Head of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance practices, Andrew Weiler is dual-qualified in New York and England and Wales and represents multinational companies and private equity firms in merger and acquisition and joint venture transactions and advises some of the world’s largest fund of funds on secondary acquisitions of private equity interests.Andrew is widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading issuer-side advisors in the cross-border private placement market. He has advised nearly 100 non-U.S. issuers on 4(a)(2) traditional debt private placements totalling more than US$20 billion, placing him in the highest ranks of deal counsel for issuers in this market. As both a US and U.K. citizen, Andrew has practiced in London for more than 17 years, having previously worked in New York, Stockholm and Helsinki.
