Thingtesting is on a mission to help consumers buy better.As Head of Design at Thingtesting, I lead our design direction and collaborate on product strategy, ensuring a user-centric approach. My role focuses on creating cohesive, user-friendly experiences that drive Thingtesting’s growth and user satisfaction.My key responsibilities include:Design Leadership: Overseeing all design aspects, including brand identity, UX/UI, and design system and processes.User Research: Conducting studies to inform product direction and improve user experience.Growth Projects: Collaborating on initiatives like Gift Guides in partnership with Pinterest and leading the design of the Thingtesting Magazine. Leading key Product Design initiatives:- Monetisation: From user research to ideation, leading to the successful launch of Thingtesting’s product testing program connecting brands and consumers.- Platform Redesign: Revamping core experiences, including search functionality, brand pages, and onboarding processes for both consumers and brands.- Gamified Loyalty Program: Launching a program to incentivise users to contribute more.- Integrated E-commerce: Integrating the ability to purchase products directly through Thingtesting.

The Org is on a mission to build the future of work. I joined as The Org’s first full time Product Designer.• Led several successful design driven growth initiatives including a quick-edit feature, Slack integration, Greenhouse integration and a new onboarding flow• Designed The Org’s jobs platform focused on giving candidates insight into their future team before applying for jobs

At Airtame I designed experiences to help people use screens better. I led the design of the new Airtame home screen, Airtame's Cloud platform and the Airtame app.• Led the product design of Airtame’s Cloud Platform. Most recently launching a paid subscription service in June 2020 • Designed Airtame’s new Homescreen. The new Homescreen improved screen sharing usability and provides useful contextual information • Led an iterative usability focused redesign of the Airtame screen-sharing app. The app now helps facilitate around a million screen sharing sessions every month• Designed multiple digital signage apps and a playlist editor for Airtame Cloud broadening Airtame’s utility to provide digital signage in schools and organisations• Designing early-stage concepts, and wireframes for future Airtame products

I was responsible for Redgate’s Database DevOps products (ReadyRoll, SQL Source Control and Redgate Data Tools). I also led the design and development of Honeycomb, Redgate’s Design system.

I worked as part of an internal start-up to generate and validate new business ideas in the Big Data market. I performed a multidisciplinary role which involved User Experience Design, Product Management and Product Marketing.

A three-month secondment to a rapidly growing Australian start-up to establish a marketing function.

Managed tactical marketing activities for many of Red Gate’s tools including SQL Source Control and SQL Compare.Developed marketing messages, managed Google Adwords campaigns, created and promoted educational content, email newsletters and product updates, organised and delivered technical webinars.
