I am a first year student in the Kelley School of Business on track for a Business Management major. I am very interested in continuing my education in the realm of business. One of my strengths is leadership, which I have displayed through volunteer work, mission trips, and my work in the hardware industry. The trait that I value the most is loyalty, which can take shape in a variety of different ways like relationships, friendships, and jobs. I have held the same job since my junior year of high school throughout a number of obstacles, like my best friend moving away and our location getting bought out by a larger hardware corporation. I think this highlights the loyalty I hold towards my co-workers, managers, and place of work. I have gotten involved with CRU on campus at IU Bloomington, which is an organization I was also involved in back in high school as well. My faith and religion is something I hold dearly, so participating in CRU has been a great way to stay involved with that and has also opened doors for volunteer opportunities to serve those who are in need. Because of my faith and involvement in Christian organizations, I also had the opportunity four of the last five summers to be involved in service programs to help less fortunate in areas of St. Louis. I intend to use my college education to continue to add to my skills by building relationships, volunteering, and internships so that I can make further positive impacts on the world with what I can do.
