• Responsible for the re-measure of the of the civil part of the project which is divided up into three main parts; site development works, main civil works and mine development works, (total value at $75,000,000Au )..
• Re-measure of all works according to as-built measures.
• Ensuring accurate records were kept of all works carried out and agreeing quantities as per these records.
• Collecting and checking submitted measures and releasing monthly invoice for payment.
• Controlling of costs and cost projection of expected final billing value.
• Interpretation of the contract to ensure that valuations and measurements of quantities shall be performed as stipulated in the contract.

BASF Antwerpen 400MW CCPU, Belgium

• Responsible for the re-measure of the civil part of the project (valued at 12,000,000€). Duties include;
• Re-measure of all the works according to the as-build measures.
• Collecting and checking of measures and releasing the monthly invoice for payment.
• Control of variations and claims to contract.
• Establishing star rates.
• Controlling of costs and cost projection of expected final billing value.

Kuo Kuang 480MW CCPP, Taiwan

• Responsible for the partial demolition and rebuild of the Steam Turbine Hall (being a steel framed, clad structure), due to a major fire during the commissioning phase. Duties include;
• Examining and evaluating the extent of the damage and establishing what could be retained and what needed replacement.
• Ensuring the ordering of replacement materials and the expediting of the said material.
• Establishing method statements and risk assessments for the demolition and replacement of the damaged parts.
• Ensuring that the works carried out were done with emphasis on safety whilst working with the utmost haste to expedite the works
• To coordinate with others to avoid disruption and safety hazards to all the trades involved in the refurbishment works.

Kuo Kuang 480MW CCPP, Taiwan

• Responsible for the expediting of the Structural Steel works to the Power Island and ancillary buildings. Duties include;
• Ensuring that fabrication of the members were carried out in accordance with the contract programme and specification.
• Ensuring the timely completion of each structure for the hand over to other disciplines.
• Checking, recording, reporting and approving payment for modification works to the structural steel where clashes occur with other disciplines.
• Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and co-ordination with other subcontractors and third party contractors.Also responsible for the construction and finishing works for the Control and.

720 MW, 50MIGD Taweelah A2 Power And Desalination Plant, Abu Dhabi.

• Responsible for the Civil Engineering works within the Power Island. Duties include: -
• Setting up of site infrastructure and establishing relations with power station owner
• Leasing with the landowner whilst excavating and laying the 400KV underground cable route. This was extremely delicate as the route passed through the existing Al Taweelah power plant.
• Handling quantity surveying for invoice and recording additional required expenditure
• Time schedule tracking and updating level 3 time schedule.
• Reporting disagreements and non-conformances to the design department to allow initiation of Project Specific Solutions and to ensure information and experience feed back.

412MW Heavy Fuel Oil Powered, Rousch Combined Cycle Power Station, Pakistan.

• Responsible for all the Civil Engineering works, including:-
• Building of a camp, both a temporary one for the construction staff and a permanent one for the power station staff.
• Ensuring timely receipt of complete civil documents to correspond to the time schedule
• Handling quantity surveying for invoice and recording additional required expenditure.
• Release of subcontractor’s partial payment instalments.

• Responsible for all construction and finishing works outside the immediate power Island, which includes the mechanical and electrical works. Which includes:-
• Water Treatment Plant and Storage Tank Foundations.
• Administration Building, Control Block, Workshop, Stores, Garage and Electrical Grid Control Building.
• All structures for Fuel Oil.

• The Structural and Civil Engineering works for the Power Island and Off-site Works.
• Programme and cost monitoring of the Off-Site Works.
