Worked on next generation dashboard and reporting software (www.ncode.com/aqira), based on a Java Spring back end and Angular front end implementation, within a Scaled Agile Environment. My role as a Senior Developer included the following duties: ▪ Specifying and developing an extensible set of reusable AngularJS components for generating customizable input screens and reports, whilst ensuring unit tests provide a high level of code coverage. ▪ Creating and maintaining functionality documents for test engineers, technical writers and other developers to refer to. ▪ Supporting and mentoring other web application developers, promoting front end best-practice, answering day-to-day questions, particularly in relation to JavaScript and Angular, assisting with technical problems and issues that developers come up against. ▪ Managing features within a scaled Agile context and ensuring User Stories are completed to schedule through coordination with other team members. ▪ Investigating and evaluating new front end technologies, such as Angular 2 and React, and recommending future direction.

Worked on an Enterprise Web Application for managing large sets of engineering data, as used by leading Automotive manufacturers for making design decisions in the fields of fatigue and durability. My role included: ▪ Designing the front end interface and supporting other developers in design and layout aspects of the software. ▪ Writing both pure JavaScript code and utilizing Dojo and other JavaScript libraries for developing front end functionality. ▪ Developing back end Java Servlet code for returning database results and sending AJAX results back to the client.

This role involved writing and designing a range of marketing materials to help promote and sell the engineering software that HBM nCode develops. Duties included: ▪ Developing and maintaining the corporate web site. ▪ Using JavaScript to deliver an interactive, online marketing campaign. ▪ Designing icons and splash screens for use in the desktop software, producing marketing literature, and liaising with Product Managers to write content.
