Quality Assurance Analyst
As an Analyst, my responsibilities have covered various stages of the Dev QA process, from prototyping to post-launch and live service coverage. In my planning stages, I primarily focus on general test planning and preparation for test deployment within my area of focus. This would include creating necessary documentation and test cases for myself and functional testers, both internal and outsourced teams. In these planning stages I work directly alongside the various dev teams to make sure QA will be up to date and understanding on what we'll be testing.During development I will then handle day-to-day test coverage by delegating tasks and tests, as well as handling some of the testing myself. This will include the creation and deployment of test suites, as well as sending off test request documentation, and if necessary, any backend setup that may be required for testing. As a more Design focused Analyst, I have primarily worked alongside the Design team in the creation of new modes and features, which has also allowed me to have a basic involvement in the Design process.
Associate Quality Analyst
Dev Qa Tester
Game Test Analyst
As a Game Test Analyst, I work on many different projects that are at various stages of the development process, from projects in alpha, to beta, and to final, as well as post release support.I've worked with many different teams doing things such as testing basic functionality, languages and translation/localization, online support, and more technical testing. Much of this job includes working with different kinds of databases and tracking softwares and working alongside my team and other teams in order to make the best possible final product. In my projects I have also had experience in handling team management roles in which I directed the day-to-day organization of my teams across multiple projects simultaneously. Part of the team management role dealt with taking on Point of Contact responsibilities between my teams and other test teams, producers, developers, and various others. In some cases, the communication was with individuals in other regions. In the Game Test Analyst Position, I've also had the exciting opportunity to work at industry events, such as E3, PSX, PAX West, and Comic-Con San Diego. At these events I've worked at demo kiosks for various titles as well as aided in the day to day management and scheduling of the demo teams.
Fqa Tester
As an FQA tester, I was involved in the near final testing on many projects that were just about to be released. I worked on a rapid schedule where my projects were anywhere from 1 day for a smaller, or important project, to a full week, on a bigger title that required a lot more attention. This role had me doing all kinds of final testing for the products I worked on in a very structured manner, everything from functionality, to more technical testing on the system itself.
Barista/Store Trainer
As a barista/store trainer, I gained a wealth of experience in customer service and learning to multitask and work in hectic situations and tight time-frames.I learned how to run store management duties, such as directing my fellow baristas in their breaks, store tasks, and if necessary addressing customer concerns or complaints, while the manager/supervisors were engaged in administration duties. This job taught me many lessons in being self-motivated and taking pride in my work, whether that was giving good service, making sure my store was clean and orderly, or stepping up in difficult situations.
