CurrentI work in Irish Life Corporate Business, in the Service Support team. As the front line IT team or the company, my role involves the direct support of the company IT applications. Along with development of new functionality and fixes, my job involves supporting the business teams, ensuring systems are working and resolving incidents in a rapid manor. This necessitates an understanding of all systems in play, along with a knowledge of the underlying systems, to keep the business running on from day-to-day My responsibilities include:• Supporting Day-to-day business processes and handling Priority 1 incidents• Developing new solutions and fixes to system processes• Developing business data reports• Managing third party support and communication• Working with the various business units to improve system performance and throughput• Research new technology and create business cases for their use in Corporate Business
