I joined the company in 2007 when it had only 6 stores and a basic £1.2 million online business. Over last 5 years I have led the team; driving a 45% year-on-year growth with increasingly higher profits. I have contributed to the growth of the company, relaunching the website, introducing reserve and collect and increasing store footfall through online campaigns to help it become the biggest outdoor company in the UK.GOoutdoors.co.uk is now the 1st most visited outdoor website in the UK and 10th most visited website in the sports and fitness category (Hitwise - Jan to June 2010, July to Dec 2010)My key achievements and experiences during my time at GO Outdoors:• New Website Re-Design / Re-Build - Improved navigation structure, SEO and functionality; Increasing and maximising the online sales (+77%) and increasing visits by 58%.• Introduced and led multichannel functions into the business - including reserve and collect (£3 Million Sales over first 7months).• Created £500k company wide promotional campaigns; driving footfall and sales into stores/web through Multichannel Marketing, including Email, Mobile, Web, PPC and Social.• Streamlined the E-commerce Operations and Call center department’s, by removing unnecessary processes and finding better ways to achieve our goals.• I attend weekly trading meetings; have involvement in company decisions, present the web/multi-channel figures and provide new opportunities for the business.• Experience speaking at board level on a monthly basis and at our supplier conference with over 200 people attending• I designed a new dedicated warehouse (layout, stock, systems/processes) to maximise fulfilment and allow growth.
