I am a sustainability professional with experience working in marketing, communications, and project management around environmental and social justice issues. In my current role, I project manage Creative Climate Futures, a Glasgow-wide initiative coordinated by Sniffer, which launched in August 2023. Previously, I helped coordinate, support, and deliver successful outputs and outcomes from the CEMVO race equality environmental programme and Ethnic Minority Environment Network, as Environmental Projects Coordinator.. Between 2012 and 2022, I ran an exciting retail project called Eighteen Rabbit - making trade fair for artisans and creative talent across the globe. Eighteen Rabbit has a bricks-and-mortar shop as well as selling online at eighteenrabbit.co.uk. I was also twice Chair of the Chamber of Commerce in Hay. I spent the period between 2005 and 2012 trying to drag the events industry, kicking and screaming, towards a more sustainable future (with a few successes). In the run-up to the London Olympics, I sat on the committee writing ISO20121, the international standard for sustainable event management.
