On a consultancy basis, I undertook a role within the EMEA Firm Compliance & Planning (FCP) Tax group, based in Glasgow. Within this consultancy, I worked as part of a team, to provide support in the preparation of the quarterly effective tax rate (ETR) process and year-end tax provision process for EMEA which feeds both the Firm’s 10K and 10Q and legal.

Responsible primarily for business development, I recruited additional clients adding over £30k of fees to the firm's fee bank during the course of my tenure here.Further achievements were bringing inhouse the firm's payroll preparation services, recruited the firm's largest client, overseen an inflationary fee increase, and implemented a client.

Excellent experience gained here in a forward-looking, modern, progressive accountancy practice. In this role I had a portfolio of clients over which I held the lead staff relationship role. Assisted the Director with the launch of Turner Medical LLP, including being published in the Scottish Dental Magazine with two marketing articles aimed at dentists.

My traineeship and first three and a half years of post-qualification experience was obtained within this mid-tier, independent firm which is well regarded for its ability to provide traineeships with a sound grounding in technical knowledge and auditing experience.
