As Head of Research I lead a team of internal analysts focused on Emerging Company research across a range of sectors. I also manage the Research product for our team of ~200 advisers. We have access to a wide range of external research product including from UBS, our parent EFG and BTG Pactual. As the lead Resource analyst I provide coverage of around 30 emerging resource companies across a range of commodities. In 2003 I joined Morgan Stanley to join previous colleagues from BZW Australia who had left at the time of the ABM AMRO takeover to start-up Morgan Stanley in Australia. I was Head of Research from 2004 to 2007 and played a key role in building Morgan Stanley from a start-up to a top 5 firm in the Australian Equity Market. I covered Australia's major oil and gas companies (Woodside, Ampolex, Santos and Oil Search) as well as the junior explorers (e.g. Cultus, Command, Petroz, Discovery).
