I am responsible for the day-to-day direction for the Accounting, Budget, Finance, and Revenue Collection, and Groups for Wastewater and Solid Waste Services.

Director-level manager of the Budget, Finance and Revenue Collection Groups for Wastewater and Solid Waste Services. I develop, manage, and track approximately $600 million annual O&M budget and over $2 billion 10-year Capital Improvement Plan for 24 special wastewater districts and multiple solid waste facilities (landfills, MRFs, gas-to-energy facilities, and refuse-to-energy).

Supervised and coordinated engineering activities of 10 engineers and engineering technicians; supervised preparation of and personally prepared engineering studies or reports; developed and recommended changes in monitoring and reporting procedures and practices; oversaw water reuse program including contract development, regulatory approvals and reporting, project development, and coordination with partner water agencies.

Proudly served the rate-payers in the Yorba Linda Water District. Focused on building resiliance both in the near term and longer term with effective financing of larger capital projects and implementing needed rate increases. Also involved in the world's first installation of a hydrant for helicopters (Heli-hydrant). Elected November 2016 to a 4-year term.
