I’ve been primarily advising clients on the economics of the energy sector for 20+ years. Focusing on understanding and forecasting outcomes in wholesale energy markets. This includes advising on: - retail price regulation, - assessing energy security outcomes, and - energy market reform and restructuring. My work most recently has involved the analysis of electricity, gas and hydrogen market outcomes using the latest energy model Energy42, developed our Frontier Economics Energy Economics & Data Analytics teams.I also specialise in providing advice to lawyers and their clients on legal and competition issues, particularly where these interface with the energy sector. Working closely with lawyers to advise on the competitive effects of mergers and acquisitions, to develop, interpret and apply long-term contracts in energy markets, and in support of a number of commercial disputes and judicial reviews.I became an Executive Director of Frontier Economics Pty Ltd in 2014, having joined in 2006.
