It is my absolute privilege to be the Managing Partner at Nexia Sydney, where we have an exceptional reputation for delivering accountancy, financial and business advice with impact. I am proud to have been a part of growing Nexia’s success, and our expanding Sydney team since I joined in 2001 as Partner-Audit & Assurance.I am currently Nexia Sydney’s board representative for Nexia Australia, and like many of our Partners, I’ve worked for a Big Four firm locally and globally. I’ve previously been the Partner in charge of the Audit Division, Chair of the Nexia Australia Audit Committee, and member for the Australia and Pacific region on the Nexia International Audit Committee. In my role as Audit Partner, I’ve been lucky to work across many industries, but developed particular expertise in Property, Education, Construction and Engineering, Energy and Resources, Technology, Agriculture and Not-for-Profits.At Nexia, we recognise that while we’re in the business of numbers, we’re actually also in the business of people. And we believe that when great people align, great things happen. Our Nexia Sydney team of 29 partners and 243 staff prove this every day through our financial and advisory support of clients who include SMEs, large private company groups, NFPs, listed companies, government agencies, and high-net-worth individuals.Our people are at the heart of everything we do and Nexia’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of our people is something I’m personally passionate about. This is the real Nexia difference which flows through to the care and personal engagement we provide to clients, and the 60 NFPs and charities we actively support through our CSR committee.I have a not-so-secret passion for volunteering, motorcycling and for trekking which allows me to get away, recharge my batteries and experience the stunning beauty Australia has to offer.
