Squires Planning is a specialist Town and Country Planning Consultancy established in 2019. The team provide professional planning services across the sector, including consultancy, planning application, development appraisals, planning policy, landowner advice and much more throughout England and Wales. Andrew has overall responsibility for the company and is the planning lead for London & the South East. He acts on a range of projects including development proposals and planning policy for a diverse client base.

Having established Squires Planning in 2019, Andrew built a specialist Town and Country Planning Consultancy that provides the full range of professional planning services including consultancy, planning application, development appraisals, planning policy, landowner advice and much more throughout England and Wales. During this time he led on a range of projects including development proposals and planning policy for a diverse client base. Building on his experience gained in the public and private sector he took an active role in all projects the company undertook.

Worked on a variety of projects including residential schemes, care facilities and the preparation of planning policy (particularly Neighbourhood Plans and supporting SA/SEA). Actively involved in site promotion through the planning process.

Working on a variety of projects I provided assistance to the Directors and advice to public and private sector clients. Projects worked on included residential, residential care, educational and TCPA & NSIP onshore wind farms. Also worked assisted with the preparation of planning policy.

Working within the Forward Planning (Policy) Team assisted with the preparation of the new Local Plan (Crawley 2020) - responsible for policy on climate change and the historic environment as well as consultation activities and GIS mapping. Also responsible for the designation of 5 new conservation areas and lead over £100k of capital development projects.
