Inflexion is a mid-market private equity house. It invests in growth buyouts (fast growing, high margin, niche market leaders) with a value of between £15-100m.I was one of the deal team, looking for new opportunities, and then transacting them and working with the management teams post-investment. Deals I co-led and sat on the board include: - NPW - the UK's leading designer of impulse gifts - www.npw.co.uk - click now; while stocks last...; - Consumer Champion Group - a marketing services business working for a panel of solicitors firms; - Marston Group - the UK's leading judicial services & enforcement business.I also coordinated Inflexion's network of international Support Offices, with colleagues in India, China and Brazil, helping Inflexion's UK investments continue to grow in those three countries.

Complan was one of the UK's leading nutritional food business, selling nutritional milk shakes to the elderly and convalescents through pharmacies and grocery stores. We owned the brand in Europe and the Americas, trading in 15 countries. During our years of ownership we launched a prescription version of the product to target the medical sector (half the price; twice the flavour), and also had a lot of fun trying to market a new range of products to the active over 50s.
