As a member of PhD candidate Dimitri Schreiber's team aimed at building MRI/CT compatible surgical robotics to perform needle lung biopsies, I created a dual-acting hydraulic/pneumatic actuator to eventually act as the new transmission between the motors and the rest of the robotics.
