This league is a revival of a league that existed at Penn in the mid-2000s. I moderated a chat with Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins and he inspired me to approach the Netter Center about bringing the league back. Among other responsibilities during the year, I was a primary event coordinator for the 2023 Wharton Sports Business Summit. This event brought 300+ attendees and 40+ speakers together in Huntsman Hall and was the 5th ever iteration of the summit.In my role, I worked closely with the Wharton Sports Business and Analytics Initiative (WSABI) and the committee-heads of the Wharton Undergraduate Sports Business Club (WUSBC) that I am co-president of. I also moderated a panel myself on the topic of 'Penn Alumni in Football'.The summit had over $10,000 in Eventbrite ticket sales. It was 9 AM - 5 PM event with keynote addresses from Zack Weiner and Val Ackerman as well as 13 other sessions (panels, fireside chats, lunch n' learn sessions) for attendees to choose from.Schools represented other than UPenn include Cornell, American University, Georgetown, Villanova, Temple, St. Josephs, Drexel, University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and New York University. Organizations represented by our speakers include the Raine Group, Roblox, the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Flyers, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia 76ers, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, the MLB Players' Association, Venue Solutions Group, and many more. We partnered with TeamWork Online to execute a resume drop for our attendees.
