• Utilizing Trackman, Blast, Synergy, and Rapsodo data and using R and SQL, I:∗ Created a model and visuals to quantify the quality of a pitch’s stuff to allow for quick evaluation and to allowfor the pitching coach and pitchers to formulate a plan to design their pitches to maximize their stuff∗ Created a model and corresponding visuals for pitching coach to highlight unique areas of strength for thepitchers on the team with respect to expected run value of a pitch location, predicted whiff percentage, andcalled strike percentage∗ Created a xgboost model that gives expected metrics for players based off the quality of contact that theymake∗ Using R Markdown, I created PDF postgame pitching reports to help coaches and pitchers identify whatpitches can be used to steal strikes, induce soft contact, and induce swings and misses through compellingvisuals∗ Using R Markdown, I created PDF postgame hitting reports to help coaches and hitters understand how theycontrol the zone against certain pitch types and where they make solid contact, which is done using intuitivevisuals• Worked with coaches to communicate analytical findings to players• Completed advanced scouting reports prior to games

In a team of 5, me and my teammates participated in CyberPatriot. Over the course of multiple competitions, we strengthened the security of multiple operating systems to protect them from vulnerabilities, as well as securing a wireless network to be secure. Overall, we finished 50th out of 6,387, while I placed 50th in the networking portion, as well as a top 20 finish in networking in an individual competition.
