Overall project schedule reporting responsibility for major engineering construction projects, including scope, resource planning, client relations and analysis.» Compile, maintain and report on multilevel project schedules ranging from level 1 to 4 (Core programs for Draught Group: Microsoft Projects and Primavera), i.e. Fans, Air Pre Heaters, SO3 Plants, Ductings, Precips etc.» Build plans according to client requirements on set scope of work, contractual and non contractual.» All major engineering construction projects completed on level 4 in Primavera.» Resource planning/scheduling to ensure sufficient site staff and minimal overbooking on scheduled task activities.» Compile Scope of Work from client engineering instructions.» Expediting of Sales Engineers for spares required during power station outages.» Daily site visits and attending client meetings on site to communicate progress on outages, future planned maintenance outages and scope challenges.» Provide swift counter measures to pull back programs that have slipped off schedule and to pull back on lost time.» Compile and maintain schedules for full plant on Power Stations, (+5000 task activities) and fully integrate all plans from contractors/expediting progress.» Manage, maintain and control all project schedules on various Coal Fired Power Stations, and non-power generation clients i.e. Sappi and Sasol.» Analyse progress, obstacles, changes, risks, trends etc.» Extensive product knowledge, plant operations/procedures & critical client relations.

Overall responsibility for directing day-to-day operations including workshop activities, production planning, projects, administration, quality and customer service.» Workshop loading and planning of activities, delegate work to machine shop with drawings and quality documents (Conventional Lathe, Milling Machines and Surface Grinders) and the assembly floor (Fitters, Boilermakers and Semi-Skilled Artisans).» Ensure compliance to budgets, deadlines and customer/contract requirements.» Construct multilevel project plans (MS Project) & continuous project control.» All project administration including production orders, purchase orders, invoicing, receipting, control documentation and data book compilations.» Co-ordinating and expediting all project components» Timeous issuing and workshop loading according to project plan.» Expedite procurement/suppliers for all placed orders and agreed delivery dates.» Manage approximately 15 concurrent projects to the value of R1 000 000.» Record and report on non-conformances and provide swift corrective and applicable counter measures.» Manage 20 personnel (Fitters, turners, boilermakers etc.)
