Within the System Modelling team, I undertake and overview a wide array of analysis and modelling activity to ensure that any potential changes to the infrastructure (e.g. track, proposed new stations etc) and/or rolling stock (trains), and the impact they have on the timetable are safe, compliant to implement and resiliently deliver the intended benefits for passengers and freight users. I relationship managed a diverse portfolio of c70 Ayrshire based SME’s who were in the £2m-£25m turnover or Bank Debt > £1m segments. Seeking a new challenge and a career change outside of Banking I opted to leave Royal Bank of Scotland via Voluntary Redundancy in July 2020.Key responsibilities: • Built and maintained strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of existing and prospective clients, whilst adhering to all relevant policy requirements.• Deliver asset and income growth, via; (i) Assessing lending requests, for Bank and non-Bank clients, utilising analytical skills and experience to make the right decision for the Bank and client. (ii) Seek to cross-pollinate via the sale of Group products to aid asset and income growth whilst further enhancing share of wallet. Achieved via the preparation of a business plan, aligned to each client’s own needs / objectives.• Maintain a visible and positive presence, via the forging and maintaining of relationships, within the local business community. • Managed monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet to monitor income and asset growth. • Proactively enhanced customer satisfaction and advocacy.• Own and supervise the risks which existed, ensuring mechanisms existed to mitigate risk.
