The income expenditure and balance sheet model was then used to monitor and control financial performance in the first few years of trade. The model was created on excel and comprised a traditional profit and loss and balance sheet structure aswell as trend analysis and graphs to facilitate understanding and inform strategy. I did this in my personal time and was motivated by helping a new business set up and grow.
