Founded on a strong technical background and an intuitive understanding of how structures work, Andrew has extensive experience of successfully delivering complex, high-profile projects. He believes that developing smart, elegant structural solutions in a collaborative design, commercial and construction team is key to achieving low embodied carbon design on every project.Since 2008 Andrew has worked around the globe across all sectors to lead the structural design of projects from a domestic scale to international infrastructure hubs.At Heyne Tillett Steel he has delivered a range of prestigious projects in London, such as the award winning transformation of the 1970s Camden Town Hall Annexe into The Standard hotel. This involved maximising reuse of the existing building fabric to minimise the quantities of new material required.Away from Heyne Tillett Steel, Andrew has worked at global multidisciplinary firms on the structures of major international projects such as the KASC Stadium in Jeddah, the Singapore Sports Hub Stadium and the roof of the Third Runway Concourse at Hong Kong Airport. He also joined Holmes Consulting Group in Christchurch, New Zealand to contribute innovative structural analysis and design to efforts to rebuild the city following the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes.
