Founded in 1996 Sporting Media made its name as a publisher of sports magazines and is the publisher of World of Golf Magazine in print and online. My work here was about managing creative talent, driving content marketing and inspiring meaningful conversations between brands and consumers.My focus was to serve our readers and our advertisers by helping to create and strengthen emotional connections between brands and people's passion for sport.

Joined when Morgan Ross was purchased by the Rotch Property with directive to launch publications for private banking clients. I spearheaded the launch of "Al Jawhara", the hugely successful customer magazine for the private banking clients of the United Bank of Kuwait.

My responsibilities were to handle all aspect of Sports Publishing for this Publishing and Conferences business with divisional turnover of £5m+. Delivered high profile sports magazines with Ian Botham, Nick Price, Martina Navratilova, Rory Underwood and others as well as with the then Guinness Premiership (Rugby Club Premiership) and with the top 5 American Sports: NBA, NFL, MBL, NHL and NASCAR. Helped bring the Magic Johnson v Michael Jordan All Stars Basketball Event to the London Arena in association with the NBA. Moved on to CIBC when the company was purchased by the Rotch Property Group.

Worked with the inspirational Eamonn Curtin, at Executive Caterers; one of the UK’s most exclusive private catering firms. Was first introduced to the industry by taking a part-time job at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli whilst at school. This privately owned Best Western Hotel set the standards in the region for high quality food and service and continues to do so today.
