Andrew Poncher has 15 years of experience in the retail real estate industry. Andrew has a passionate focus on integrating solutions utilizing deep analysis of all available location intelligence data, client proprietary data, business intelligence information and market analytics; creating custom innovative solutions for his clients success. Andrew has played an integral role in the retail evolution of Downtown DC, leasing over 750,000 sf of core retail in the city over the last four years. In addition, Andrew plays a large role in actively helping local retailers like Baked and Wired, All Purpose, Tiger Fork/Calico, and Immortal Beloved expand their presence, and is helping to bring exciting out-of-market retailers to DC including the Smith (NYC), HipCityVeg (Philly), City Works (Chicago), Maple and Ash (Chicago), and Maison Kayser (NYC/Paris). Andrew’s developer clients include local groups such as Jair Lynch, The Meridian Group, Douglas Development, and Quadrangle/Wilkes, and institutional entities including Metlife, Grosvenor, Related, Brookfield, Hines, and JPMorgan. In his role as Senior Vice President of Retail Services, Andrew continues to play an important part in transforming the retail landscape of Washington by focusing on helping the metro area grow new, exciting, and value adding stores and restaurants. Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from the European Business School of London.
