I am a programmer/developer looking to restart my career as a software developer. In the past I developed web apps and websites using mostly PHP. I am trying to move away from PHP development and into desktop application development.I have programmed in Java, Javascript, C#, Python, Rust, and others, with my current favorite language (as of 2017) being Rust - which I enjoy using and have become fairly proficient in.I have a B.S. in Computer Science w/ emphasis on Computer Programming. I am always learning and I am always willing to help others learn. I helped and tutored other students while I was a student at Herzing and I consider myself very effective at teaching. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others who are willing to learn.I have been using Linux as my main OS since around 2018. I have more recently become enlightened with Docker and have been using it since 2019 for and running my personal server (self hosted services like Git, Nextcloud, Bitwarden for password management, and Plex Media Server).As a hobby I like to make computer generated art. Recently I have been making fractal designs, and sometimes use 3D and/or Photoshop.
