He initiated a project to completely overhaul our Slack channel, archive outdated channels, and most importantly create a new channel for the UX community to become aware of our programs and activities, and be able to ask questions and communicate with the wider UX community in the Triangle. The changes were well received by the community and drove a dramatic uptick in the number of Volunteers who have come on board with the organization. He also drove an effort to create several Portfolio Reviews sessions in conjunction with a local UX design and engineering firm to allow students and aspiring UX professionals and opportunity to get feedback from senior UX professionals on their portfolios. Andy is highly regarded by the members of our Executive Council and is known as being approachable, helpful, knowledgeable, and extraordinarily innovative."
