Headed the public relations efforts for Thunder Bay Resort, a golf/destination resort in Northeast Michigan• Pitched media stories and wrote press releases that received coverage from local media and national outlets.• Researched, created and maintained a successful “Social Media PR Campaign” that drove traffic to the resort website and built stronger relationships with the customers.• Assisted in the planning and execution of many special events including: Bus Bash, Hillman Blessing and Bike Rally, Wine Hops and Food Festival and other small events.• Designed pamphlets, posters and postcards designed for print advertising and marketing.• Created direct marketing campaigns that targeted specific audiences, including RV clubs, tour group operators, and nature enthusiasts.
