Andrew Gordon is an operations executive with a background in strategy, corporate development and M&A. He has extensive experience driving EBITDA growth within a diverse range of industries including distribution, B2B and B2C retail, media and energy. He is an empathetic leader who cares deeply about employees, building strong personal connections within challenging economic environments and those undergoing significant process changes.In his current role as COO of VODA Backyard Leisure Group, Andrew oversees operations for the largest backyard leisure products business in Canada. VODA is comprised of three prominent businesses in the pool, spa and patio furniture industry: Aquiform, Pool Supplies Canada and Club Piscine. Together, the group of companies service the market for pool, spa, and patio products for distributors, retailers, and dealers across Canada. Prior to joining VODA, Andrew spent 12-years in progressive roles at Torstar, one of Canada's largest media organizations. As Senior Vice-President of Operations for the Toronto Star, Andrew had direct oversight of GroupIT, People & Culture, Communications, Print Operations, Promotions & Partnerships and Labour Management. He is a devoted father of two, an avid skier and motorsports enthusiast, with a particular love for Formula One and Redbull Racing.
