I am involved in the development of automated tools for data collection and processing, structure refinement, restraint dictionary generation and automated ligand fitting. Dealing with difficult and/or complex X-ray structure determinations with various external collaborations.

I joined Astex at its inception and was responsible for equipping, setting up and running Astex's high-throughput x-ray facilities. I was also jointly responsible for developing and maintaining a high-throughput data processing and structure refinement pathway.Expertise in protein purification, crystallization and all aspects of protein crystallography.Experience in the application of fragment-based methods against a range of therapeutic targets.Project management experience.

I worked on structure solution of human transcription factors, working with Prof. Ben Luisi. I was solved the high resolution structure of the E. coli integral membrane protein TOLC.
