I have deep experience in native mobile UI/UX and software development, but I've also worked extensively on enterprise level web and cloud services. I've done rapid prototyping for a language learning SaaS start-up, helping them crowdfund an additional $1.7M, and later led the 0-1 development of their mobile app and cloud services. This is a tough market to break into, but they are still around and thriving six years later.I've led a lighting company through the process of building their first smart lightbulb, working closely with the hardware/firmware vendors and my design/dev teams to build a custom mobile application and cloud services.I've helped a global leader in catastrophe risk modeling scale up their design and engineering teams and build a design system to SaaS-ify their legacy data visualization products, developed a client-facing documentation platform for their APIs, and worked on mobile-first prototypes for new product offerings. A little over two years into these efforts, the organization, initially valued at nearly $900M, was acquired for almost $2B.I drove a mobile app re-design initiative for a major consumer electronics company, owning high-level mobile product strategy and vision, improving the App Store rating from 2.5 to 4.5 stars.
