Assistant coach at local youth soccer academy: This academy was in the middle of a gang neighborhood and the goal was to mentor boys from the ages of 5-18 in a charcter building lifestyle. This included leading them in their work on the field with their teammates as well as caring for their mental, emotional, and spiritual well being off the field.ESOL Instructor: Taught multiple English classes to Spanish-speaking children at a private school in grades K-4.Intern: Assisted short-term missions director in various organizational activities to help continue to develop the short-term missions program. This included brainstorming and recording a number of ideas for short-term team activities and intern involvement as well as creating an efficient tool to help organize the soccer academy donations and inventory.
