While serving as VP Engineering for CO2Nexus I was responsible for overseeing the design efforts (both internal resources and managing outside vendors) of the first commercial Tersus Machine. Under an aggressive timeline we incorporated refinements and enhancements from previous machines into a brand new design. This included a ground-up design of the 3D model in Autodesk Inventor. My direct areas of focus included specifying ASME pressure vessels through collaboration with our vessel manufacturers, full Bill of Material and Approved Vendor List development, complete controls upgrade and conversion (including programming in 4 of the 5 languages defined in 61131-3), electrical and wiring specifications, thermodynamic modeling and heat exchanger design, project management and procurement/supply chain responsibilities. I also developed validation procedures for assembly and commissioning processes (i.e. FAT, IQ, and OQ), as well as co-wrote several technical documents including Installation and Start-up, Safety, Operation and Maintenance Manuals. I was intimately involved in every step of the design process, from conceptualization to released assembly drawings, and led several design reviews throughout the process to ensure product enhancements were being incorporated, engineering principles were being validated and safety was being maintained.

FeyeCon USA, Inc. specializes in developing novel applications using carbon dioxide (CO2) as a process technology. CO2 is a versatile platform, offering solutions across numerous industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, textile and renewable energy.FeyeCon offers contract research services (product and process development), small scale production and custom CO2 equipment design & engineering. We also participate in collaborative research projects with universities, knowledge centers and other commercial partners.

At Lohmiller & Co I provided technical expertise for my engineering and contracting clients to facilitate the specification and sales of our HVAC products. My clients included the largest mechanical contractor in the state of Colorado as well as several of the largest and most influential engineering firms. Some of the products I represented include Carrier, LG, Team Air, Delta Cooling Towers and Triad Boilers. My focus was on Applied Systems specializing in air and water cooled chillers and custom air handling equipment.In my first 12 months with Lohmiller & Co I generated over 1.25 million USD of new sales of HVAC equipment through engineering specifications and contractor sales. I also coordinated and instructed courses on topics such as Psychrometrics, Mechanical Refrigeration, Air Systems and Sustainable Building Products. During this time I received my LEED AP BD+C credential.

My experience at Washington Air Reps allowed me to learn from the best sales professionals in the HVAC industry. I was privileged to work on a 4 person sales team and contributed to several multi-million dollar mechanical system sales for commercial buildings ranging from high-rise hotels, condos and office buildings, data centers, hospitals and correctional facilities. While with Washington Air Reps I produced marketing literature and advertised for company sponsored events and training seminars as well as represented our company and manufacturers at a nationally recognized trade show by hosting a display. I also attended the annual AHR show with my clients to help increase awareness and familiarity of our products and industry trends.My technical experience at Air Reps included designing multiple fan array custom air handling equipment, variable primary chilled water systems, optimized cooling tower selections with and without free cooling loops and evaporative cooling systems. I also gained valuable experience specifying both LG and Daikin variable refrigerant flow systems.One of the greatest learning experiences I had at Air Reps was through our integration of a CRM solution to help improve productivity and collaboration while reducing redundant work. Our sales team was responsible for implementing and commissioning Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The challenges we faced and the successes we had with this implementation helped me learn the importance of teamwork, communication and collaboration.

City Bike Shop is the premier bicycle and fitness equipment retailer in Traverse City, MI.While with CBS I provided complete bicycle repair and assembly services including tune-ups, overhauls, wheel builds and shock rebuilds. I organized shop rides for customers and employees and frequently sponsored and participated in regional community and race events including the Iceman Cometh Challenge. One of the greatest successes we had at CBS was growing the fitness segment from 2% to 30% of annual revenue.

I provided sales assistance by outifitting customers with biomechanically correct shoes and technical apparel. I was also able to help correct sports related injuries through proper shoe selection and fit.
