Ambitious, career-driven chemist focused primarily on the synthesis of challenging pharmaceutical targets in an industrial setting. Experienced in multi-step syntheses involving scales ranging from mg to >250 g. Proven track record for synthesising and shipping targets in a timely manner, working closely with clients’ priorities. My current role has allowed me to develop skills in drug design, where my ideas have resulted in being a named inventor on three patents. Currently the Medicinal Chemistry Leader on my project, which involves collaborating with the client and a multidisciplinary team, developing target ideas and syntheses to expand SAR, and helping to overcome obstacles and drive the project forward via the design-synthesise-test-analyse cycle.
