Our team was responsible for all production databases (more than 1000 servers) for core projects (World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Warplanes, World of Warships etc.). My main duties consisted of database scheme and stored procedures development, performance tuning, queries optimization, maintenance and code review. I have designed and implemented a system for regular tasks based on mysql events and stored procedures with logging and notification support. I have also designed a structure and applied Liquibase migration from svn to git. I have developed an internal system for documenting databases with versioning support and Confluence integration. It was particularly rewarding to invent unusual solutions for new challenging tasks and to work with a high level of responsibility.
