Here, my primary task is to shelve books and audiovisual items (i.e. music CDs and audio books). Every time I shelve items, I would occasionally find items that had been wrongly shelved or even possibly assigned a wrong Dewey Decimal label. Whenever a labeling mistake caught my eyes, I would skim the book's content to ascertain whether the book's topic actually matches the topic of other books surrounding it. However, if the topic is one I am less familiar with, I would check the library's online catalog and ensure that the book was not mislabeled when it was first acquired for library circulation. Trego-Dugan Aviation, or TDA for short, is a contractor for many ultra low-cost carriers across the country. At CVG (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky) International Airport, TDA is a contractor for Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, and Air Canada. Working for TDA as a ticketing agent, my primary task was to check passengers in for their respective flights and to receive any bags if they had bags to be checked. It was there that I learned to deal with some of the most difficult people, especially when I had to deny boarding to people who tried to check-in at the airport less than 45 minutes prior to flight departure. I was also responsible to ensure that any special needs of passengers are communicated to the staff working the flight, such as if a passenger with special needs who is traveling alone requires an airport staff to push his/her wheelchair to the boarding gate.
